The Louisiana Archaeological Survey and Antiquities Commission was created to advise the Secretary of the Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism on matters concerning archaeology and cultural resources in Louisiana (R.S. 41:1602).

The Commission meets quarterly on the second Tuesday of March, June, September, and December; meetings are open to the public. The agenda for each upcoming meeting will be posted here at least one week prior to the meeting date. Minutes of the previous meeting will also be posted and made available as soon as practical.
