A Comprehensive Preservation Plan
One of the key requirements of every State Historic Preservation Office by the National Park Service is to develop a State Plan that will guide the manner in which cultural resources in the state are considered and interpreted by those who have the ability to affect them and the power to regulate certain actions. This plan serves as a general guide for decision making throughout the state and was developed in conjunction with Louisiana stakeholders who have an interest in how the future of preservation is shaped in the state.
